“STAGECOACH” The history, design and construction of the historical stagecoach—the “Knights of the Whip” (stagecoach drivers) and guest appearances (re-enactments) of stagecoach drivers, “Amy Morrison,” (one of only two known female drivers) and “Bull Meek.” This presentation will be offered by Lee Dummel, Old West Historian and re-enactor. Stirling City Museum’s Amazing Donation—June 4, 2015

Carol Lewis, Stirling City Historical Society Director—holding Candi Sue, and Pete Cuming, volunteer extraordinaire, stand underneath a 1947 Straddle Carrier donated by Ross Sherburn of Corning, CA.

The Straddle Carrier was originally used at the Collins Mill in Chester, CA. Pete Cuming refurbished and painted the carrier that will be on display in front of the museum at 16993 Skyway on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 to 5pm. Mary Schaefer 873-0583
